Orc boss, in Skycastle? Oh noez, what happened to our bears!? ;)

Actually, I do have a weapon I would really like to see in the hands of some sort of orc-shaman lord thingie:

However, I suspect no player would want it - it has a view model, but it's so huge, it looks like a giant potted plant from that angle. ;)

Still, that screams orc workmanship to me.

How and WHY would one attach skulls to a tree-club?

Simple. Orc think.
orc.gif

You see... Orcs are spiritual creatures, with the deep need to express, through art, their view of the world that has so emotionally scarred them. This art manifests its purest beauty in their tortured watering eyes, when they stick lots of human skulls to a beloved object of their dearest affection! They are the green skinned Goths of the RPG genre that no one cares for nor understands. How would you feel if you constantly had nightmares about hobbits with rings? Trust me, you'd be sticking people's dead heads to clubs too!

Save a soul! Hug an Orc today! love.gif

Ya know, it *almost* sounds like something little-G would say about Bludgeons, except he wouldn't be being facetious at the time. ;)

Yes, but I won't start working on it anytime soon. I'm in my exam year (sixth year of grammar school) and I am really, really busy.

No, because Crow had transitions in his version to World Walker Two.

YOU DONT GOT TIME TO MAKE A PROFILE
WW2 was put on hold. THe planned 9 maps got a little overwhelming, and I got sick of it.
I needed a project that was one map, so I could just focus on that.

I dunno whether or not i'll connect this to WW2 or just have it be a stand alone official map, since apparently theres a floating castle in the lore somewheres

And no, its not replacing the old skycastle

hehe. i dunno =P
if you have a suggestion for a name for a castle in the sky, lets hear it.

So i figured out why it was crashing on me. I hadn't updated to the march patch yet =P

that said, the first battle is ready, and ill just say you'll be lucky to even see the inside of my castle

new pics uploaded to first post. I redid that little thing in the middle. its now 10X cooler than a big stone block with a plaq in the middle. take a look. ^^

So, you're makeing a new skycastle, and I STILL have to re-make Skycastle? >< Grr...

I could change mini-skycastle to look like any new skycastle - I have to recompile lostcastle_msc eventually anyways, just to fix a few levitating objects and skewed textuers. (Side effect of not being smart enough to just remake the whole thing from scratch).

Nah, Skycastle is level 30 on its best day (it can slow, maybe 2 level 30's). Large group of level 20's (5+) pwns it instantly.

Balanced out your CotBG series to ramp from 20-30, the 30+ bits being Orcplace and Skycastle.

Can always balance out any new Skycastle to have two versions. ;)

Then again, since it is the final battle and all, a level 40 map may not be a bad idea (just increase the treasure freq/type - maybe put in a script for a really-really giant bear.) ;)
