Well they are gone, I'll give you that much. (Went with the "Zeus" idea >_>). However, I don't think even char_recover is that reliable. ;)

From what I can tell, Lodagond-4 is crashing servers before the artifact chest even appears, sort of like what happened with dev mode on.

Maybe try splitting the artifact chest in two?

Using the arrow quickslot command seems to make the heavy crossbow jam much more often, both in a way that it still seems to fire, but does no damage and can be put away normally, and the usual complete jam that you must go into your inventory to put away.

Either that or the thing is just plain jamming more often.

Think it crashes at Maldora because of that floating rock move. Also Aleyesu crashes sometimes when the thunderfists or juggernauts spawns with the lights and electricity effect.

I don't *think* so... As long as it isn't echoing the entire treasure list to anyone's hud or console, it should be fine...

I could put it over to an Individualized Chest (keeping the same dmg point requirements) - it'd be one less thing to spawn in that sequence.

If it crashed there, it'd crash everywhere else it is used. It isn't specifically precached, I noticed, but all the media used already is. I added a specific precache there, just in case, but the Stone Guard Skeletons and wicard Maldora Fragment aren't precaching them, and they seem just fine. :\

The Juggernaught manifestation in Aleyesu involves a lot of map-side beams. Probably entity overflow. Should probably switch it into a client side effect, though it'd be a bit of trial and error work to make it look the same / as nice.

Maldora's defeat doesn't seem to crash listen servers, though I've only tested it twice.

The last 5 or so times I've played on loda4 it crashed the exact point Maldora HP goes from anything above 1 to 0, just before his NPC text displays, as if he knew we were after his Tomahawks :oldshock:

Seen this happen in the previous patches, but didn't bother reporting it since its like minor i think? It only raises item count from as long as i know... Also it seems to happen more often this patch.

On another note, some people told me they had recent experience of loosing their items in weird ways this patch, someone told me they tried banking an item into the chest, someone else was nearby the chest, and it deposited on his chest instead. Never seen this happen to myself but i've seen pretty similiar things happening like items going poof from a person and randomly popping up on another persons inventory :roll:

Double post... who cares :roll:

I'm here to ask if the pharaoh lance is actually spawning properly, or is it another axe of balance type of weapon, which isnt spawning at all when it gets added 1st time? I'm really beginning to think that either the place i thought it would be isn't really the place that drops it or the item is just bugged and wont drop :eek:

Ent commands still seem to kick you/report you on Non-FN servers.

ms_central_enabled was set to 0 in listenserver.cfg

Command used was ent_lastseen

bloom level seems to be either level 4 or disabled. Setting it to 1,2 or 3 still puts it at 4.

Also water surfaces show incorrect textures, same for other transparent things.

I tried forging the Vorpal Tongue and it crashed the server. It also deleted one of my litch tongues.

1, 2, 3, and 4 look pretty much the same. At 32 or so, it starts shifting a bit. Note the bloom cvar stickiness issue at the top (ie. it'll reset to 4 with every map change, [fixed]).

Dunno about the water textures, if it's doing it to you every time. Generally they are amongst the first textures to go wonky on you - maybe just after the overlay textures (such as cobra-blind) and followed by text textures. Still worried we're hitting some sort of texture limit - trying to harp on MiB to look into getting the textures to clear out properly between maps, but neither of us has managed to track down where this is done yet.

Musta made a dozen of those in DS testing, plus all the alpha testers that decided crafting would be their top priority. :\ Hopefully a one time thang, but a crafting crash is certainly a painful one.

Captain Ron seems to have become undead or unholy. (Blessed bolts, UGA, etc. can kill him)

I don't see what that has to do with me being able to kill Captain Ron with holy damage.

Unless you're implying that having a high darkness level means that you can use holy on everything.

(It does not.)

I don't think Captain Ron has the base_npc, much less the base AI, so yeah, need to manually set him holy immune.

Well this game likes to crash a lot... on laggy maps like edana and thornlands with a angry mob of 3-4 players on the server :eek:!

To be honest you should just make him immune to friendly fire, like the foutpost dude and all old_helena NPCs.

Hrmm... Will consider... It's really hard for him to get killed because Rickler did a crappy job on setting up monster navigation aids to lead to him though.

Slightly useless info, perhaps even old (I dont give a shizz if it is), but the questline where you do errands for the smith in edana, when you get the ledger from the old pedo in the house outside town, the smith's chat doesn't have a 'Give Ledger' or anything. Therefore you cannot give him the ledger.

Inb4 someone possibly trolls me after this LoL.
