Hell, that's what I use... Well, and my computer... Bloody thing can heat this two bedroom apartment without issue, tis sick...

Out here in the US, those are pretty rare outside very old apartment buildings and the occasional house that's not up to building codes. Still, my Frisco and Boston apartments both had them - albiet, they were built in 1922 and 1918, respectively (which is about as old as buildings get in these parts). Still, the Boston place was very nice, even if you couldn't run a hair dryer and the microwave at the same time, thanks to the damned 1918 fuse system! ><

Most of us out here have central air heating or gas heaters these days. All those tax incentives / bank loan deals we get to upgrade our heating/AC and all. I suspect most yonger folk have never even seen one, outside of a Warner Brothers cartoon.

This is what European modern radiators look like.
They work by having warm water released inside tubes inside the radiator using some valve or something.

A few minutes after initial contact I'll come through the door, having heard the yelling while I was out on a walk. I'll come in and start beating the shit out of you while Neil phones the cops. We'll hold you down and the cops will arrest you. Neil and I will start talking and we'll go out for coffee, strengthing our new friendship. Then when you're out of jail I'll tell you how it went.
