I originally made it to replace aob for personal preferences, but since I made it have wood texture I just thought "Whatever.. Wood armor.. Sure." It's my first "skin" if you can call it that, that doesn't only involve minor colour tools, brightness etc, so of course it's not really all that good. Just want some opinions or constructive critisism crap like that.

Made in Neopaint

(minor) Update, front doesn't have runes but if you know what it says, cookies to you. (yes I used the aob emblem, but it's because it looks like it's carved into the armor) back is blank. noyougodieinahole.png

I was gonna post something really long but there's really no point criticism wise. If you made the wood texture yourself, you already know what you're doing, if you didn't then all this really was was a showing off that you know how to work the interface of your program.

It looks alright, but is pretty worthless for a real armor since a lot of enemies do fire damage. I kinda like the idea more than waffles though, maybe it'd explain why the armor has such a low armor class. :p

I was sort-of thinking a twist like, it's "enchanted" and has some goofy fire protection but theres already enough things with that. No I didn't make the wood texture, just messed with it a bit.

To be honest I don't like it at all, it's just another skin of the same armour...

Maybe if there was a model specifically for wood armour then I'd be more welcoming to the idea.

I like everything except the wooden chain mail doesn't make sense, and the AoB symbol should be replaced by some leet looking runes, if possible. And I voted first option.

I like the concept, not the execution. Can you model as well as skin? If so, you should make us a new armor model rather than yet another basic plate-mail reskin.

I'd like to see a (better looking) wooden armor that had stats similar to this: 55% defense, +80% defense vs. Earth,
-40% defense vs fire.

Definitely voted 1, but not so much with a wood concept. Looks good though.

Haha, I WISH I could model, but all the tutorials and programs are too confusing. I think I'll "get" Milkshape tomorrow, I've heard it's good for goldsource.

Depending on your tastes 3DS Max is also an option.
