Girl on the right is from the anime "Noir".. I havnt seen all of it, but what i have seen of it was good.

I've not seen nor heard of Trinity Blood... How is that? I've seen Noir, and although tis alright, tis predictable and perhaps longer than it should be.

I'm looking for adult-oriented (non-hentai) anime to share with my female quazi-otaku friends: such as Monster (which is quite good - if yer into anime sans the sex, violence, and bots), or Yugo the Negotiator (not quite as good, but I suppose politically relevent). More sureal tales like (my personal favorite) Henbain Renmei or Placed Promised have also proved popular with the older crowd.

So, if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears. Pickins seem to be running slim lately.

...not that there's anything wrong with sex, violence, and bots... Especially when you can get all three together. I'll save Burst Angel for when I have less frequent company.

I've always wondered if they make horror anime. I've seen some pretty weird stuff, but I'll bet, if it exists, horror anime would have the coolest of the weird.

Trinity blood is good, but its not as easy to find anymore since FUNimation licsenced it. Not that its impossible though >.>... I would check out Saikano
which is good for the older crowd.. Boogiepop Phantom Is another anime that i've heard is very good, and i've seen the first episode and i can say, definitely not for kids, yet not perverted if i recall right. Of course there is Neon Genesis Evangelion which is one of the greatest animes of all time in my honest opinion.. I'll come up with some more for you later..

*edit* and 20 seconds later, I had an epiphany. Witch Hunter Robin Is an insanely gooooood anime yes yes yes... mm... Cowboy Bebop the movie and Cowboy Bebop the series Which i'm watching right now and loving the hell out of. I just finished watching Beck the anime, which was good, but not in america yet. And before that i watched Outlaw Star Which is a must see for any anime watcher..

Go download Hundred Stories (should be top link). Nice, bloody, twisted Japanese folk tales turned into horror stories full of cheeze. Still unlicensed, I think, so you can grab that legally.

As for Tradion's list... Seen all those... Trying to avoid the sci-fi and bots - although all of those are good (Bebop, Eva, Outlaw) but wouldn't make the cut for this audience for the most part. Did Witch Hunter... I saw Boogiepop in Americanese, and it was just really hard to watch that way, maybe I'll see if I can find it subbed... Saikano looked like it had potential, despite the sci-fi, I saw the first four, but I lost it with one of my HD's. Was a little put off by the end of episode 4 where they closed with him stripping her down for no apparent reason though.

Probably looking for more along the lines of Millenium Actress, and the Miyazaki stuff.

Beck looks like it has potential, is it fansubbed? Subtitles are the only way to go! I can't stand most of the anime we actually release out here.

I've seen some bebop, sweet stuff. The movie was wicked. Never got into outlaw star.
My friend said NGE was bad...so...i'll probably see it sometime anyway.

The others i have never heard of.

I like Bleach and Naruto.
