Guys i have a server with tons of space and bandwidth i wont be using much of it anytime soon so if you want me to host ms:c for you or something let me know. I have over 4.5TB of bandwidth a month and 500GB of space.

hmmmmm....i dont see us using that much bandwidth, but could be a nice mirror to lighten the bandwidth load on thothie around patch-time...allowing for bigger patches (which are coming, with all them models and such)


and thothie, people dont care about waiting a minute to download a patch, just ask the empires team with thier 200mb patches :roll:

My host don't have the best bandwidth in the world, if you can set me up with an FTP account there, might help out with that. Plus it'd be nice to have mirrors when my host flubbers out from time to time.

You'd be amazed - I went through 12.7TB last month, according to my stats page. Thankfully, I'm not capped. Although, they did once remove a file on the basis it was swamping their servers (for some reason a Lain AMV I put up was pulling down 8TB a day, mostly from people in Japan)... They also took down a link to islamic sacred texts, on the basis that it was "deemed offensive". (I love this 9-11 era we live in.)

thats alot of bandwidth, yeah...maybeh give me and thothie some ftp access of sorts and we can put the patches on there to link from moddb...that'll help thoth abit
