Funneh songs Thothie, hehe... although the singer for that ChristmasSucks one sucks, especially when he twists his own voice -_-

EDIT:
Or, at least, it sounds like every voice is one persons with poor twist... perhaps two people (and simple sound editing can make it seem like two voices are speaking at once, even if they aren't).

Tis two guys: Tom Waits & Peter Murphy, both old skool goffs of Bauhaus and the like, well before your time. *sigh* I miss running clubs... Granted, there are no old skool goffs to run clubs for anymore, just rivet heads, quazi-industrials, wannabe punks, and emos. [/bitter] Doesn't stop my ex from running hers so I should stfu and just admit I can't handle change... ;)

I am kinda glad to see more skeptics this season, as when I was Netrog's age, it was definitely the exception and not the rule (I could count the number of people who had any idea of what was going on in my school on one hand). Granted, he's gone off the deep end into religiously anti-religious, which is just as bad and annoying on an individual basis, but may haps a good thing on the grander scale given the level of socio-political oppression that's been so easily accepted as of late due to the grander ratio still being what it was when, well, I was Netrog's age. Still, this oppresive majority thrives on the illusion that it is the repressed minority, and attitudes like Netrog's help fuel that delusion.

The commercialism and the hypocrisy don't bother me so much. I kinda like going broke buying all my friends and family presents once a year - feels a bit better than going broke buying myself crap, oddly enough - nice and cleansing. The hypocrisy is kinda nice too, since Jesus was born in summer (as anyone who has bothered to read the Bible knows), and we're actually celebrating a pagan holiday - one of the more pleasant, gay-friendly ones at that. It's nice to see all the normally anti-any-other-religion people doing their darndest to keep those traditions of religions much older than their own alive. Always brings a lovely smirk to my face.

Lucky to have it though... Back in the early 1800's the Puritans in Congress tried to revoke Christmas as a legally recognized holiday on the basis that it was a pagan holiday - a holdover from the "immoral European heathens". Six more votes in the other direction, and there would likely be no Christmas (or it'd be more akin to Holloween). This is back when we had real religious conservatives, who had an iota of a clue of what they were espousing. They'd burn our modern so-called right-wing evangelicals at the stake.

But that music in the malls, and well, everywhere else, has really gotta go. I seriously wanna bring a shotgun to the mall and just shoot out all the speakers every time I hear this quazi-christmas-musak crap... Although as Peter and Tom suggest, it'd be much easier just to do myself in - sadly I already know where that road goes...

So, in the wise words of Mr. Garrison: "Hey you Taoists, Krishnas, Buddhists, Jews, and all you atheists too! Merry f*cking Christmas to you!" :D

Christmas is over now, therefore dead... MUWAHAHA I STUCK A KNIFE IN X-MAS'S BACK! Hehe, oh well...

What do you think about the ol'president Gerald Ford dieing... and then getting his body paraded all over the country before being put-to-rest/in-the-ground ?

Kinda drowned out the fact that James Brown died too, and was paraded all over Harlem - drawn by white horses while wearing a snazzy outfit.

Funny thing, during x-mass dinner I had this exact conversation:
"Isn't Carter the oldest living president or some such?"
"Nah, it's Ford."
"Ford's still alive?"
"Not for long..."

Obviously, I was part of a ex-presidential assassination plot and didn't realize it.

Hmm... that could work out... or you can borrow something from a free & non-copyrighted game? Either way works. But, then again, perhaps the Diablo 2 creators, Blizzard, will never gaze upon MSC; and if they do, perhaps they won't even play it & notice the sounds :oldlol:
