The bludgeons from my triology were like that aswell
however they would never agree to have a nosepiercing

that is more likely for a wretched or demon

Quick render, I've given him a mouth (like the concept) so he has more animation possibilities, as well as optimised the model for animation, as well as performance :)

Poly count currently stands at: 1617

However, like the concept from Bobo The Seal, I'd like to give them the armour on one side, as well as a beefy weapon or 2 (submodelled)

My information.
I need to know this right now.... how many people play MSC with a low-end to medium-end computer which commonly chugs'n'fugs with 1000+ poly models?? I am in the clear with a dual-core setup & a gig of ram... but I have a feeling that a player here & there for MSC may be an integrated video card user (which is only useful on high-end computers).

Point being... is this model Half-Life engine friendly? Doesn't matter if it is, since I want the 1600+ poly one once it is out :D

It will be fine for myn, but for a "stock" computer it wouldnt sound to good..

HL1 can deal with alot more than you guys think :)

A "Stock" computer currently, is over the min requirements for HL1 Engine games. I would face concerns if the model were more than 2500. But Its not going to get that high. Fear not :)

Ive seen much higher polies than that... and i got a pretty sucky computer so trust me it will do

The HL1 Garg, has 1894 polys.
Icthiasour = 1575
The Loader/Robot with Box = 3423
Nihilanth/End Boss = 1859
Assassins = 1640

:) After seeing those, I think 3000 is a good limit, but I'm not going top push that hard, its not necessary

The mohawk and armor should be a submodel
normal native bludgeons does not have mohawks or a spiky armor and nor does wretched.

the normal ones instead have protective leather vests
and the wretched are naked with the exception of boots and probably a club.

also i like the axe.
but there should also be a maul or a club. thoose are more traditional bludgeon weapons, overall its nice.

Its not a mohawk, its going to be his main, using alphas :roll:
