ive noticed the bludgeon is getting a bit of attention from dev's.

He's helping Bludgeon's into MS:C...I just KNOW a terminator is going to be sent back for this one...

I dont think the bludgeon was supposed to be a minotaur... more some sort of man with a cow head, thus a completely normal body with a sexy armor...
personally i think it should use the old model, since it was the first MS(alpha) monster ever made.

1. Added the shield, a fun defensive and OFFENSIVE item. Selecting it and holding the button
blocks the area where your shield is (so if they hit you from the side, back or under where
you're blocking, you're SOL)
Also check out SHIELDBASHING!! To do this manuver, run forward and while running attack
and hold the button. If you hit someone it'll knock 'em on their ass and do some damage.

2. Fixed all known crashing bugs - this is the most stable build yet.
Becoming the dwarf can really mess things up, I'm working on it
3. You can sit now, to rest. Press r (binding: act) and choose the first option. Duck to

1. Statistics finally implemented! As of now you can be any race, but only a warrior
or ranger for your class. Stats affect the bow's accuracy. They also affect the damage
for the bow, sabre, clawborn, and knife. Press 'p' to view your stats. Type 'reroll' to
change them.
2. Monster AI has been started, type 'monster' to throw in a monster to test it. The
monster can only move for now, he can't attack
3. Fixed the Duck-and-Die(TM) bug
4. You can do a long jump by running and jumping

A Bludgeon is a Greek demon, similar to a Minotaur, often seen in the presence of angry oino-daemons, which are... umm... Demons/serverants of the gods that swing both ways (can be bad or good, angry=bad). ;)

you need to scale it down when its a normal bludgeon however that model is perfect as the king

remember that bludgeons were platemail similar to the one the old model wore, with spikes, n stuff

i really like your model though

Are Bludgeons going to do insane amounts of damage.

I saw that last model update and it made the Bludgeon look pretty damn big next to the player... I am scared of the outcome of meeting one of those without iceshield + runeshield up....

i imagined bludgeons to be in between a human and a troll size wise.

and he only uses his fists so damage cant be that insane. :wink:

Perhaps a boss Bludgeon should be made... who is slightly shorter than other Bludgeons but much more powerful, and who has a 10% chance to drop fire gauntlets... but that while he fights a player he does elemental damage to the player varying from ice & fire to a blackhole of instantaneous death :twisted:
