My msc has recently decieded to commit suicide upon launch from the steam games menu.

I see the MSC backdrop from about 3 seconds, then it closes.

Tried a complete reinstall.

IIRC you've had issues corrupting your DLL's in the past... I'd check the date of the SC.DLL/MS.DLL on your reinstall and be sure that it actually rolled back. Also check that your configs aren't trying to start any maps the SC.DLL may not be ready for.
