Not saying I hate the spell, just the circles. ;)

As for the protection circle - I think it would be doable, and more likely to see the light of day. Damaging spells, at the moment, are out, as they either cause magic to level even faster, or cause the gap between high and mid level characters to accelerate faster. Basically, unless and until the spell system is revamped across the board, there’s no place to add new damaging spells.

Meh, plus I gotta figure what's making the AOE spells so undependable in multiplayer while still passing XP proper.

Same thing as it's crystal counterpart, for everyone, for a time based on div level, or whatever...And for a sh!tton of mana, of course ;)

Kinda make looking for crystals moot wouldn't it? ;) Plus I don't think we want to be forcing players to be relocated. Mean players might start waiting until they are hopping accross nasty hazards and such, and force-relocate players to spawn in the middle of trigger_pushes going to lava chambers, and the like.

What would be neat, though, is a spell that turns a crystal of return in your bag into a crystal of relocation. Only available to be done once a map? Don't know how hard it is to make it so it goes into your bag and changes it, as I remember you saying that's why you need to hold the item/ticket when dealing with storage... Maybe a 1-hand item that would do this(while you hold the crystal of return in the other hand), and you need a certain SC level for it to be usable?

There's an axe in morrowind called "Nordic Axe". Guess what it looks like...

You have to lose an item to get a ticket, so ye break even, more or less.

Although, ticket names are a bit longer than item names, so yeah, sadly, you are more likely to overflow from tickets than items, I suppose.

That also gives me an idea... what about being able to mix potions of the same type so they use less inventory?

For example, you give to the NPC two potions of.. let's say Greater Protection;

For a small fee, now you'll have a two drink GProt potion, this should reduce a bit the inventory of a good ammount of players.

Ah, I read that wrong, thought you wanted a spell that spawned crystals of reloc.

I can't think of a way to pull that off hand though. Maybe if you dropped the crystal in front of you first... Even then, not sure. I could have the GM pull it through a menu system like Ryza does, but it'd hardly seem magical.

As for re-stacking items, yeah, we had that conversation, and you bastards pulled Shurik3n away from his attempts to fix the character overflow by waving that shiny challenge in his face. ;)

So it wouldn't work to hold the crystal of return in one hand, the magic item in the other, activate the magic item, and the crystal of return disappears and is replaced by a reloc?

Either way, stacking would be nice, and it would help with the core problem... But getting rid of the issue altogether would be even better. ;)
