What sort of new weapons would you hope to see?

Hi, MS:C has an array of weapons, but there is more that could be added. My question is, what kind of weapons would you like to see in the future (Ex. Poop-on-a-stick, lvl 35 Polearm)?

I like your bow idea, I think it should specialize in holy based damage with the silver bolts

EDIT: I think the npcs' weapons from the_wall are good ideas too

Bow's idea was from gorynych while the bolts idea was 50/50 so to say, i posted before gorynych did but i really don't mind sharing the same idea :wink:

Yeah I agree with Echo717

We could need some affliction weapons.
We also could need lightning weapons.

Maybe something like lightning gaunts or dagger.
Same goes for affliction then

Even I don't know...
I'd personally like to see more useful shields and good 1 handed weapons.

Edit: Also more veriety in heal spells. One that hits in an AoE like a fireball but heals allies would be quite nice. :wink:

^I know there is a shield somewhere, waiting for a release. I kinda agree with the 1 handed weapon thingy (mostly blunt and axe, swords are secondary). One handed flail/new tomahawk anyone? :roll:

About that spell suggestion, i like it. Why not make some healing circle that steals health from enemies and split it up between the players in range? Personally i would like to see some defensive and buffing spells released, mostly new types of magical shields, buff spells like making your party's damage temporarly go 50% higher, give 50% haste to the party, etc. :mrgreen:

Durability Circle - 25% less damage done to those within, 200 mana?

Amplifier Circle - 25% increased player damage, 200 mana?

Momentum Circle - 20% increased player movement speed, 100 mana

Greater Ice Shield - 120 seconds

Just some thoughts. :)

Pretty sure anything else that reduces damage has already been no'd. There's already gold armor + ice shield + GPoP. :wink:

Ye don't understand my point. If you were to get new magical shields, let's say fire resistance shield, said shield would reduce/absorb fire damage by a certain %, this shield would still offer a little boost in damage reduction, not like the ice shield but something small at least. This is like... phoenix armor and ice shield but in a single item, you know what i mean? :wink:

Also, even if these magical shields would get released, who said you could stack ice shield with other shields... Could always be gold plate + random elemental shield + GPoP, end result would end up favoring some elemental resistance mixed with semi-decent damage resistance more than uber damage resistance. (Something like 50% dmg resistance, 30% element resist instead of 80% dmg resistance = just some random example, not really accurate with these values).

You WILL need a ravenmace or at least speedpots for RUN. Not a good idea to throw it away.

Well I can almost run as fast as with the raven mace ... well nah I can't but it's enough for me lal.

I have a ravenmace and i don't like it either. That doesn't make me give it to someone else just because i don't like it, it might be necessary for future use in other maps, never know when it comes in handy an item like this.

If you get circled by elves u should be more than ready to face them all or to make up some strategy to kill them all and avoid massive massacre on yourself. Even i am not that stupid to let myself get circled by elves all the time, unless im on a rampage.

Buff Spells,

Focused Mind - 50 mana - 90 seconds - 30% increase in player's hit chance.

Momentum Spirit - 50 mana - 90 seconds - 25% increase in player's fire rate.

Vampyric Soul - 50 mana - 90 seconds - 15% of damage done to the enemy grant's health to the player.

Change the numbers if you want.
