It really doesn't matter how high the plate is piled, now does it?

Yes but the higher you make it the more days you add on.

And every time we hire more people the stack gets smaller.

But if people want a release they'll have to wait for the fancy stuff for later versions. :p

I understand this it was just a suggestion

trust me I have seen what happens when a mod feels too pressured... it usually dies

Well thankfully this mod can never die, as for MS:S it.. really hasn't been alive yet.

I don't know about kicking any more. I put some thought into it and unless it has limits such as using high levels of fatigue it could be abused easily to make fights way to easy, an example is in DM you can just kill someting by kicking it off a ledge, well in MS:S it would look like:
newb defeaded level 20 boss

so it would make things a little difficult no matter how fun/cool it would be

or we script in "Weight" to all the creatures, and you can only kick X weight depending on your strength score...

There's ways to counteract that, which are already implemented:
1) Invisible walls for monsters, preventing them from being knocked off ledges unless they follow you off
2) Floating boss/boss minions, AKA Atholo
3) Boss chambers with no endless drops

I'm pretty sure all that can and/or will be implemented into MS:S

Kick already has an HP cap, as do most other things that launch monsters.

its not just "unless they follow you off" its...literally a wall, but only to NPC's.

func_monsterclip

Should be a similar entity in the HL2SDK. If not, I can tell ye it seems to be a special entity that monsters have a trigger flag that tells them when they are touching one.

We should have a HP cap so after you reach X HP, the amount of power the monster kicks you with will be cut in half. :p

I didn't know the technical wording for it, so I said floating. Same diff, right?

Sfor? You can't kick or knock the skeletons off, but if you jump into the hole, they'll follow you right off.
