Transition Error

When ever I attempt to go from one Edana to any other place, like the sewers or the planes, my character is no longer there. Like it was deleted.

But, when I re-host on with Edana as the map, he is back.

Whats going on?

Have you started running through Steam yet?

If not, I suggest doing that before coming here, as that's most likely the cause of your problems =\

Yes, I am running it through steam now. Same problem

Is your character GONE or unclickable?
If unclickable, did you go to the transfer zone or changelevel/votemap?

If with LAN chars -
Check that SAVE folder that Squirrel mentioned to make sure nothing has gone corrupt.
You may want to switch to FuzNet. This most likely will fix the problem and you'll have a character that is on most any other server.

If with FuzNet -
Do you get messages saying that the connection failed to establish or anything like that?

Also make sure you have sv_lan 1 in your listenserver.cfg (assuming LAN listen server is what you are trying to do), or it will default to 0 when you change maps, thus you won't have access to the same characterse.

I encourage you to play on-line, if at all possible though. You cannot transfer LAN characters to FN, and the game is balanced in such a way that it is very painful to solo.
