Personally, seems to me you could just find some white fur textures, and a tooth necklace, and go wild with said on one of the current leather armor textures, and ye'd be done.

Erm.. You don't have to go remake a player model :roll: There's just a newer model somewhere (I dunno where, this isn't my area of expertise).

Erm.. You don't have to go remake a player model :roll: There's just a newer model somewhere (I dunno where, this isn't my area of expertise).
That isn't what i said :p I said i use the skin (or make it a bit better) and put it on another model (the actual one)

I like it. I'd change the black/blue slightly though because the contrast with the white is too great. The white has a good intensity though (hue?).

That's considerate but I wouldn't want you to waste effort making me my own skin for it. I'm just trying to give my input and see if you/others agree so we can refine the skin. If you like it then use your effort doing it as well as you can instead of making me another one. I think we'd all prefer a few well done skins to a million of different colours. Compare a lot of almost identical old spiders to a mixture of the good old skins+FER's new ones.

That's an improvment over your last attempt, but I still say it needs something to set it appart from the other lether armors. I would suggest, again, bear-teeth necklace and trim maybe. May require photoshop skillz though.

Speaking of things that require photoshop skills, I r adding to the REQ list:

Retextured viewmodel arms for every major platemail type.

Now that we can change the skins on viewmodels, it should be possible to rig it so you have different armor on your forearms in the viewmodel, based on what armor you are wearing.

Only platemail armors actually go up to the forearms, so we'll need arms for:
dark, gold, aob, and pheonix (think that's it)

This will require a bit more skill that just filters and playing with the color selection/hue sliders.

Actually it might be doable very easily, if what I'm thinking could work... *goes to look*

Yes, sometimes, it seems, the texture size varies from viewmodel to viewmodel... I suspect we'll be dealing with all new viewmodels in anycase (if Orochi ever gets done with his work, or, more likely, when someone else does it for him). As such, I'd probably just use the 256 entry, as it'll likely be the easiest to adapt if the size changes.

EDIT: wait, you mean putting every texture into a songe bmp file, or you mean the subskin stuff?

With this, the armor would also become a little bit "bigger", more "fur" looking. Shouldn't be that hard to model.

Impossible to make fur. (modelling)
You'll just need a awesome skinner there...
