I haven't really paid much attention to MS:C in awhile, but I saw the big 1.11 announcement on the front page and I was going to reinstall, but of course, I have a few questions :

- If I were to play alone, in my listen server (not passworded, but I doubt anyone would join, non-fn) would I still be able to enjoy the game, or would XP and Chest Rewards be limited/cut down/non existent? I much prefer to play alone but I never close off my server.

- Have the major crashes been fixed/taken care of (free edict crashes, for example) ?

- Has the FN password been changed since I got it? (I got my last password update October 31st)

That's about it.

-XP stays the same (bosses give better xp), but you probably are limited with chests

-Some bugs got fixed, but not the "no free edict" one (as stated in the "FEB2008a / MSC 1.11 Bug Reports" thread, gotta read it every now and then)

Some people would join – but the game tailors to multiplayer, and ye midas well setup FN server so your character will propagate, on the off chance someone joins the server you actually like to play with.

Yes and no… Edict crash is a bugger… We’ve made them a lot less common on maps infamous for them (ms_wicardoven and calruin2 seem fairly stable now) – however, we have new maps that are really bad with them (Lodagond-1, the new Helena, and the new <_< old_Helena). We're hacking at it though. I'm really tempted just to commit an entire month to that.

- Has the FN password been changed since I got it? (I got my last password update October 31st)

I’m not certain – it depends on what port you were on, I suspect. Each has its own password, and they get swapped out as FN finds cheating hosts.

Don't play on your own. In my experience, you will not find any good items. You need at least three-four people.

Nah, I played alone too so far, I didn´t find unique items so far but I guess once I can beat Keledro, I will find some
