I asked Thothie in the server if it improved or didn't. He said "way better than before"
So I went to test it out on demon temple. I was not even being heal by fire. The only time I am being heal is if I run away from them. Same thing with Atholo. I can't even survive in fighting atholo for 1 minute. I am lucky enough to swing 2 hits on him with my UGA then jump in pit. Before the patch, I was able to stay in there for like 10 swings of my UGA and without using Ice shields.

If the armor is not going to be the way it used to be like when it first came out. Then what is the purpose of this armor Thothie?

guys, grow up! Should I complain that you guys are parry leveling on bloodrose with atholo and your phoenix armor? Come on... look at how many people took advantage of that... Dude, I am still level 37 rather than 40, I don't sit down and let atholo beat on me for 8 hours.

GoW only had 3 people that was cheaters. Oaktree was one, Krayman was 2, megatracker was 3. Where are they now? Not around, or not in my guild.
Megatracker quit MSC because he knew that you guys were lying about yourself. How did he know about the exploit? How did I know about the exploit? We found out from the people that wasn't in GoW.

Oaktree is gone from my guild...
Krayman is gone from my guildpathe...

Dude, I watch you guys on server list and figure it out on my own. I don't care if you want to use that exploit. Its not my character to deal with.

But I am not going to use it. I am in no hurry to level myself up to 40s. Maybe thothie should remove the phoenix armor from everyone who have then and do Blasto's method of punishment. 2 month roll back. If I have to be involved in that rollback then I don't care. I can work myself back up again.
if you want to accuse my guild or me, think about your actions first and what you have done before I have came to MSC.

Its pretty interesting that I found some thread about other guilds and their cheat before Jan 2007. But I don't care.

Pimpsta, if you had thought about what I said, you wouldn't be freaking out. I wasn't making fun of your guild or saying you guys are cheaters (though I am thinking it loudly.). I was merely pointing out that Phoenix armor being nerfed isn't an exploit, in any way, shape, or form. Thothie knows about how we train, and he hasn't said a thing to us. I rarely train like that, myself, not that it matters.

This isn't a support issue... And it's turned into such a flame topic it doesn't really make it as chatter hardly anymore either.

In anycase...

Originally the Phoenix Armor had Knights Armor level protection and Gold Armor weight that only protected you against/gave health for direct fire attacks (not applyeffect/DOT).

Now the Pheonix Armor has Dark Armor protection level and weight, and protects from/heals for all fire attacks.

Short of making it say, "OMFG I r having the Armor of God and I r totally invincible!111!!!1" - I don't see how to make any more powerful. It is, hands down, the best armor in the game.

Now... If I see a fire-themed map on the horizon, it might ruin it, seeing as "somehow" <_< so many people got ahold of it.

What I'll likely do then is make it 100% fire protective, but only for a certain time when one activates it by a command word, followed by cool down time, and bump its general protection to GA level.

Ok i am tired of it already. Most people don't like GoW because of the past of some exploiters and i am tired of hearing o GoW is duplicating o GoW does this GoW does that. Just because of some exploiters in the past in our guild u think that all GoW does it WRONG! If the exploiters was in your guild they would do the same thing so instead of flipping out at the guild they were in then why don't u flip out at them duh did u ever think of that. No you just wanted to flip out at GoW. All guilds are the same they only want to level up and get good items first and stuff. Some might just have exploiters. Like Pimp said we banned them from our guild. We did everything an other guild would so why are you flipping out at us. And by the way the people whoever says all GoW members are duplicating show me proof we don't all got phonix we don't all have gold armor and we don't all got the best items so leave us alone already!!

tried! thats why we kicked him out before he actually success.
We didn't want anymore exploits into the guild.

Darkwarrior explained it well. Not just me have to listen to your BS. Everyone that have GoW tag on even my new members that just joined GoW.
when they ask me... I show them the thread and tell them what happen...
