lvl cap?

Through random non-fn testing and news about keldorns fire lvl I'm lead to believe that the is no level cap at lvl 40 exept fpr parry and is at lvl 75 instead for the rest, but this is sub skills only because lvl 75 SC is unreachable. Now while it is possible to get to lvl 75 its very unlikely because it takes an ungodly amount of xp to get there but I'm sick of all the people saying keldorn breached the level cap on his fire because the lvl cap is 75 not 40.
Ps I wrote this on my phone so sorry if I misspelled anything or my grammar is horrible.
Will the devs tell me if this is not true for FN charicters.

As far as I know it's capped at 40, all of the main skills(non sc.) plus the sc subskills are capped at 40, last time I've seen keldorn has a level 39 fire.

Everything's capped at 40, I can't gain any exp in any weapon type, the exp stays at 0.00%.

(Except spellcasting, which is capped at 29. The individual spell schools are still capped at 40 though.)

This is why I posted is to make sure, plus there's a rumor about you surpassing the level cap Keldon so once again sorry.

the only past the level cap as far as I know is Joe, but that's cause he was level 41 swords before the cap was implemented

As far as I know, the cap was for Parry only.

Thoth has a cap in the code to stop you gaining exp when you hit 40. Not sure how you managed to get to 75, unless it was using a manual level set.

Well I was using a cheatmap for creation so I may have just gotten the lvl before the xp was deleted, so I don't really know I did it a long time ago while we still had the twinking war going

Suspect he didn't do it himself, but rather got some cheat characters from a certain someone, as there's never been a level 75 cap - just, once upon a time, someone cheated up some characters and just happened to stop at level 75.

My guess would be that that's the point at which you have overflowed the exp variable >_>

I know you can set stats over 100, or even over 1000, but it tends to crash as soon as you do anything, depending on the stat, amongst various other issues.

To put off hitting the variable-overflow longer (I'd assume), the devs have it set up so that every level your exp gets reset, then you have to gain X exp before you reach the next level. Once X becomes greater than the maximum number allowed, exp would eventually roll over into the negatives and you wouldn't be able to gain levels. Perhaps this happens around level 75.

if your exp values are stored as a 32bit integer it could become an invalid number once it get's to ~2 billion, for a signed number, or ~4 billion non-signed.
