Sadly, we got hung up on that, and it completely devoured the rest of the nights dev time.
But we may have all DOT passing XP proper, and no penalties for using weapons with damage multipliers (nor bonuses for using weak weapons). Could change the XP ramp rather dramatically (especially for spell casters)... It also opens a glimmer of hope on getting summoned monsters to pass XP proper, and thus, maybe, perhaps, allow restoration of a level-able Summoning spell category. (ie. an actual reason to use pets.)
True. What stat affects the strength of the summoned creature? I think that were you to get that to work, you gotta take it off that stat so those of us with epic summoning abilities don't go RAWR and have three more SC levels in a matter of minutes...But you'd figure this anywayThothie said:Unimaginable horror.
Just having full XP for all DOT is going to make a huge difference.
