Yeah, that happened to one guy who tried to give me fireball but the map changed as soon as he dropped it. I posted up a rollback thread for him and told him to post in it, but he didn't care in the end.

I, also, lost my raven mace due to the same thing. I really had a fun time getting it back, and, because I had urdulian, I levelled parry at least one level by tanking the blacksmith while other people activated the seals.

Rare items

What is your definition of a rare item? Lightning storm scroll rare or phoenix armor rare?

Pheonix armor yeah (although not so rare as you'd think given the number of them running around!).... Lstorm would be pushing it, as there are three places you can get it, and one of them is pretty easy, but personally I'd go for that. (Although I'd more more inclined if you were low-mid level, as at high level, it's a breeze to reacquire if you know where to go). Blasto, I suspect, would have wanted you to have lost the whole spellbook though.

Yes, but what I took that to mean is that it fixed the negative miss chance. When in fact it just make miss chance worse overall.

It's the same as last month's hit chance in the B patch, it restores the old system.

My Torkalath blade now has a 13 miss chance and it was 10 before...!

Helm of the Dead is probably disappointing and I wouldn't have much use for the bravery armor since I don't die to often.

25% damage reduction against all undead
that stacks with armor and ice shield and any protection pot
is pretty nifty. If it was on a harder map I might
boost the stun prot to 30% or so.. Maybe a greater variant l8r.
