Is your computer ready for HL2?

Just a quick poll to see, because once HL2 releases, I may play this if MS:C updates but it's much more likely that I'll play HL2 and EoL when it releases.

I saved up a long time for this stuff. But i think im ready, i played source and it was getting about 150 - 200 fps in most areas.

2,6 ghz proc. 256mb ram. 80gb harddrive. nvidia gforce 2 32mb. Ok... Nothing Super...But i guess HL2 Will work fine, As Gothic 2 and Freedom Fighters. works without lag on mid graphx and 1024x768 res.

Radeon 9600 (128 MB VRAM) - I might get a 9800 next summer or so.

Lol, yeah me and her have pretty much identical computers seen as I built them both myself. Only thing different is the cases, which are pretty pimped out.



Amd 2600+

512 Dual Channel PCI 3700 ram (soon to be another gig)

Radeon 9600XT 256mb

Soundblaster Live 5.1 (likely to be upgraded)

52x24x52 CDR Drive (I need a DVD drive.)

UV Transparent Case w/black lights and Blue Light Fans (looks pretty cool but I need more black likes to make it completely glow)



It'd be a shame to see this great team go to waste, seen as MS finally seems to have a more dedicated and talented team. The reason I posted this was to see if you guy's would have people sticking around after the release of HL2 and I'll probably still play this until the HL2 mods start pouring out. Once the whole scene starts switching to HL2 do you think as a whole team you'll join EoL or start your own RPG? How is HL2 going to effect the MS:C is what I'm trying to get to. You guys are a great team and I hope you guys are coming together good cause you have a lot more potential than the original MS team (although their idea was good it was just unbearably buggy at moments, uncomplete, and not really really good looking for really really good looking people (haha sorry i just watched Zoolander not to long ago))

OK, upgraded my vid card to an Nvidia 6800 gt. HL2 is pretty kickass.
