Make a handle, add some more detail like bolts and possibly make the model look like it was made out of wood and metal. Kind of like this shield....

please, iv made and compiled many models and made much content before. never had a problem till i came to decompiling msc's models and recompiling them. (hl mdls btw)

Well, you are failing to do something I've had seven amateur modelers succeed in, plus myself, who I wouldn't even qualify as reaching "amateur" status, so forgive my doubting your claims of modeling l337ness.

(Should add to that, nearly all the content you've added to this game thus far has been broken, sometimes beyond repair.)

the only content that iv added to this game thats broke has been the slime, which i have no idea why. second if your counting the money bags, that is not my fault. as far as it was explained to me , its because of how msc's currency system works. other than that iv added two helmets which seem to work fine and i believe 1 skin texture. all of which was made as i was learning to model. so i fail to see how you claim that i just give broken content. i think your just sour about the fact that i dont want to work on the rat model.

Because you don't (or didn't) know how to write QC files properly.

The one helm I have from you didn't work fine - I had to re-orient and re-rig it myself.

Think more than one - those worked... Granted, even Stoned can do those... Actually, Stoned can even align and rig weapons with our viewmodels proper, which is where you seem to be blaming MSC for *your* failure.

i think your just sour about the fact that i dont want to work on the rat model.

There's that too, but at least you don't use MSC as an excuse for your procrastination there.

aside from that. i would be more than willing to make armor/ weapons / whatever but im not messing with what ever seems to keep messing up when i try to recompile msc's rig. maybe its milkshapes decompiler. i cant seem to get jeds to work at all though. so im done messing with it. i would rather make my own game then mess with what ever rigging problems i keep getting.

Gaz rigged them - my mistake - was thinking they were among the ones I did...

Hope your game doesn't run on the Half-Life engine, or anything else that MS3D's default compilers don't work for, or otherwise require use of command-line based compilers (as every other game does).

You mean the view position or the model position?


Also have you tried downloading the latest MS3D/Jeds HLMV version? (or redownloading it again)

BTW you can alway submit weapon models alone, we could rig them ourselves later.
