Borrow some every once in a blue moon (had one last night)?

Yes.

Replace the ones we borrowed before anything?

Yes.

Actually, we needed elves awhile ago - or rather, for a damn long while now. And yes, we're supposed to have elves guarding the more difficult entrances of Bloodrose. Plus it'd be nice to have a civi elf that didn't look quite as bad as Findlebind does.

Thus far all we have is recycled warcraft chicks though, of which I've not recieved the models for.

Wth is the matter with you guys.
This game was finally about to receive the SEXY that it needs, and you DRESS it up?! Jesus!

Furthermore, about using models from WC3 and WoW, I've got no idea on any legal issues here, but there's no harm as long as the project isn't earning any money off of it, is there? Besides, Blizzard would never find out. I like the elf model a lot, been a while since I saw a new model for MS:C. Par Maldova.

They are not under a Creative Commons license.
If we are to use them, we would have to ask for permission and make it very clear that Blizzard has produced some of the work.

However, I think they could suffice as a placeholder model until we get our own, as with the PVK-crossbow we used before a dedicated model was produced.

I'm sure a lot of people have said "but we didn't make any money out of it!" (we do, by the way, through the donations on the website - even if no money comes out of it) and seen an ugly court.

I'm not too hot on the anime ears.

Not sure if I remember Bruington's preference on the ears, but I don't think he intended them to be that long.

But hey - any elf is better than no elf.

Long, yes, but perhaps not this long.

I always thought "pointy", not long.

As in human size, plus some inches of the characteristic pointy ears.

I would consider 'pointy' characteristics making the ear long, so that's all I mean.

Originally intended to be human sized or maybe an inch longer or so, with a pointed edge.
Certainly not like that.

I think his story has some description on the elves, if I remember correctly, such as dark elves actually being white (dark not refering to skin color), and things like silvery or golden hair.

It's been so many years, I don't remember it all, but I think I remember the part about the dark elves (particularly because of the Wildfire Legion).
