So I see...Hrm.
Try using more colorz
Granite has a mottle of grey, black, and flecks of gold and quartz
Also try making thin vertical lines as opposed to dots, and see what happens.

thar...i dont see how adding some goldish color make it more "granite" or "stony" so i just did the lines and just a few dots of bright yellow

In my opinion it was better with the blade green, handle brown, and that flower on the back. The flower could be made a little more vibrant though.

Mintree, go with your first one. Sabre's idea for "veins of gold" could look very nice on the flower portion but, trust your instincts!

How about a sacrificial dagger that you cut yourself with and damage becomes multiplied, or a special spell is cast? Similar to demon claws, I guess but, different.

You mean like it takes your health down to 0 but multiplies it leaving you almost defenseless. That would be a nice idea, maybe have it multiply your mana into damage as well.
