Earthen Dagger?

I'm in the dagger mode as of late

I made this with the intent of starting to incorporate the earten element into our lovely mod hur:
It looks thin and wispy because I was thinking elven, and elves were thinking forest. (STFU CHAIN OF THOUGHT WAS ON MIND)
The handle is gonna be 'twiggy' looking, the hilt an emerald leaf kinda look, and the end ornament and blade a brilliant gold.

If possible we can have the stone mason thing;
A charge summons the four boulders, which discharge at the current target;
of course it will take mana.
@Thothie: Just copy+paste the demon claw script, don't eat all the mana, and throw in the boulder effect
If someone wants to make a sprite of rotating leaves that we can halo this thing with, that too will also look sexeh.

I'm kinda being lazy and opting to create chrome style textures;
While it may sound lazy, it might add to the effect that the dagger is mystic/ethereal.
Insofar,
I've a silver/gold kinda thing for the end ornament.
A bark texture for the handle that looks awesome chromed,
A green/black leafy shadowy chrome for the hilt...
And I dunno yet for the blade...Suggestions?

I lumped the handle and blade together on the same texture, as you can see:


...But the texture needs a little more refining.
The other two are perfect imo.

Did you chromed it in HLMV? if so try using the chrome-in-name method, which will make it look better

I used the chrome name for the green...Needless to say it looks awesome...But can you do like a chrome-1.bmp and still get the same effect?

That ones a little lighter, which fits your elven theme, so i'd go with that one.

I think its fine cept for the blade. green blade = weird.

The green part that was originally green looks fine.
