Crossbow glitched for me

I found the crossbow but is is glitched for me. I cannot see the model, it says it is still in my hands, it takes up my "on your back" slot, and i cannot use it, nor pull it off my back.
Specifically...

Any help would be appreciated...Thank you. (I hope people still look at this site every once in a while...

Yes, the big blue "download" at the top of the page. Oct 1st release or later.

Be sure to type 'betadate' in console before clicking on your character on unfamiliar servers (paticularly "hellz diner") and make sure the date it returns is Oct 1st 2006 or later, or your cross bow may vanish.
