Known issues

:?: Starting an HLDS or listenserver with the -num_edicts flag may lead to crashes on some maps.
- 1500 is now the default for clients. Servers should set their -num_edicts flags to 1500 as well, via the command line.

Major
:idea: Summon Bear Scroll has wrong script on exploit/donator reward list
- Don't pick it! But if you did, IM an ID, and we'll reset you next patch.
:?: Spawning a largely full Galat chest may lead to server crash when withdrawing items
- This is actually a perpetual bug until we optimize the inventory systems.
- A full Galat chest is the resource equivalent of another character joining, so don't withdraw items unless you think the server can handle that at the time.

Minor
:?: Votepvp dysfunctional (dernit, forgot to look into that all these months)

Aesthetic
:?: Changing map while a status icon is active causes said status icon to become permanently "stuck"
:?: Texture scrambling issues when playing for a period of time
:?: Some players report additive render weapons not rendering so in first person, or otherwise rendering incorrectly (Felewyn Shard, Hoarfrost Blade, GIB, etc.)
:?: Disconnecting while dead results in invisible body and armor on reconnect.
:?: Using changelevel instead of votemap or admin_map may cause various texture issues.
:arrow: Some p_models vanishing into floor
:?: Lack of level up sfx for Polearms (for some players)

Ancient/Perpetual
Known Ancient bugs:
- No Free Edict Errors (ED_Alloc:no free edicts), usually the result of overloading the server in one way or another. You can *try* hosting with the -num_edicts flag, however, this may prevent some maps from loading. We're constantly working to mitigate this bug.
- All entities invisible bug (type kill in console to cure).
- Lights/sprites not going away / sticking to other objects (Sticky client-side effects)
- Occasionally a weapon/spell will stop doing damage until it is unequipped then re-equipped.
- Can't use charge attack in laggy conditions. (Work around: use +special or +uber)
- Sitting animation bugs (sometimes saves to character for awhile)
- All water sometimes goes white (texture stretch bug, restart)
- Typing issues in chat. Especially with European keyboards.
- Various Health/mana indicator madness (see also yonder)
- Small sack holds stuff it should not.
- Ticket Bank freaks if you have more than one of the ticket or item you are trying to trade
--> Galat chest does not have this issue.
- Double attack bug, most prominant with xbows
- All tomahawks appear as fire tomahawks in third person
- Heavy/Light Crossbow jamming when firing
- You cannot use NPC/GM/menus/chests when inventory is full (not a bug, insomuch a necessary limitation, at the moment.)

Also Not liable to go away soon:
- Jumping from server to server without closing |MSC screws with FN functionality
(solution: ALWAYS close MSC before joining or creating a new server!)
- Some monsters still capable of some acts while frozen (jumping, etc.)
- Orion Bow jamming sometimes, (I've no idea how to fix this without dropping the whole charged weapon concept.)
- Can't push monsters while under the effect of leadfoot potion

Resolved from NOV2011a:
- Bloodshrine Sorcs not finding qualifying players proper (failing to divide by #players)
- Bloodshrine secret gold bags self-deleting
- Edana Mayor's quest screwy
- Great Lava Boars occasionally burning targets no where near them
- Bloodshrine not in disconnected map list
- Bunch of others (see changelog)

Resolved from APR2012a:
- Drawing a steam bow with a full inventory, for the first time, causes it to vanish
- Casting volcano crashes server

hitting with demon claws 2nd charge or greater thunder axe does not display remaining hp properly after initial hit while using bloodstone ring (shows full hp until lightning dmg does extra, or a regular atk is done)

I think, due to some optimizations we made there, the HP display currently shows the HP at the moment you struck, rather than the HP after... Though this fixes some other display bugs.

On phobia the bandits at the end only seem to reward only the first 2 people to ask, will not give to anyone else even if you meet the damage points req.

Also, you should have an invisible wall on the second cell's bars when you break into it. I killed the orc before it broke the bars for me. BAER CLWAS FWT

Same thing happened to us on phobia when smoker got a little too excited with his torkbow and demon blood killed the orc before he broke open the cell door at the start.

I seem to have picked up a problem I've not seen anyone else report.

Whenever I connect to an RKS server, I get booted to the destkop at the character selection, with no discernible error, either in my local client logs nor the RKS server logs.

Connecting to my own local HLDS server does not cause this.

If I create a server first (something I don't recommend doing, especially if you're created server is FN enabled - though this one isn't) - then I can connect to RKS servers from that one just fine. Similarly, I seem to be able to hop between RKS servers freely, once connected to one (which I recommend doing even less).

Anyone else getting Crash to Desktop error on character select screen similar to this?

Umm... Shoot... Seems I screwed up the bear scroll script name... Were you even on the list? Or are you reporting for someone else? Give me the ID, and I'll reset it next patch.

joining a server playing hunderswamp (usually with 4 people) gives me that weird lag that was talked about before.

I cant get xp rewards on phobia, it jsut says i cant train more than once even tough I didnt even ask for the xp yet


EDIT: Deralia sewers is bugged. during map change server crashes

I shall make sure you get another shot next patch - I'll try to keep the bear scroll on there too. We *may* have an early patch for East Shender, or some such.

Dernit - Phobia worked fine when I tested it... Well, I suppose it's still a step above the opposite problem...

Will examine dsewers, but am suspecting Alloc/Chunk bug from num_edict count.

Also the delay that happens on hunderswamp had happened to other players aswell. For it it happenes when theres more than 4 players

Deraliasewers somehow slipped out of the map hashes on FN... Fixed now - should work.

That whole delay thing, I've no clue what causes that, or where to start to debug it though. :\ I assume it's similar to the old "no player in slot 1" bug we used to have. Best hope would be to catch it live, but I suspect it's something more fundamental than I could detect with script debugging.

Anyone else getting Crash to Desktop error on character select screen similar to this?

I randomly crashed 2 times, game goes not responding all of a sudden, but that only happened on the first day release, yesterday i played for a good while and nothing happened.

BTW - Did it do this to you on your second run through, but not the first? Maybe it's just a matter of the global string holding the rewarded players not resetting between runs.

i did about 6-7 runs on phobia yesterday, the xp rewards went to 2 players and they were always the same players to get rewarded (2 lowest on server), damn these guys powerleveled, sort of... Kinda sad i lost all those xp rewards. Ah well. :|

Anyone try the orcs on Bloodshrine? I canna remember if I copy pasta'd this process, off hand. ><

Next time you see Ralion, at the end, look at him (or any of the bandits), and type in console:
tdebugt TC_HALF_AVG_DMG_PTS
See what he gives you... Should be the min qualification / 100.

Thothie, what the hell? Also, I pulled my demon claws out and got the model for the Venom Claw, which was weird, and I wished I snapped a pick, and i got venom claw when pulling out rejuve, which was weird 2x.

Also, my previous bug report went poof, Thothie did you get to see it? It was related to that bandits in phobia...

Btw, vampire bloods are broken. Tested in daragoth and edana, no sun impact damage with daylight and no healing either.

During the last patch, I was able to use the Ice Typhoon fine. This patch tells me that I don't have enough proficiency to use it. I have polearms 24. I didn't see it mentioned in the changelog, so was it deliberately or accidentally nerfed?

the proficiencies of weapons were changed ...typhoon being one of them .
only a level ... so not too bad..

Oops... I neglected to put the weapon level changes in the changelog, didn't I? :oops:

Torkalath Bows (all): increased req to 30
Infernal Claws: decreased req to 25
Venom Claws: decreased req to 15 MA, 10 Afflict + unending duration
Greater Venom Claws: decreased req to 20 MA, 20 Afflict + unending duration
Axe of Balance: decreased req to 18
Shadowfire Blade: decreased req to 25 + increased fire DOT
Ice Typhoon: increased req to 25
Holy Lance: increased req to 30
Stormpharaoh's lance: decreased req to 25, increased DOT, increased melee dmg
Lance of Affliction: decreased req to 30, DOT switched to acid, increased melee dmg, increased throw range

Sadly, ye'd have to be more specific... Are you getting this often? Looks like an edict mismatch.

I can reliably replicate something similar to this:

Get out the Urdulian Shield and a litch tongue, then use the 2 key to switch to rejuvenation (tome)

You hands appear to have bear claws.
