Its 404 poly right now, so its not final yet (i have to get it down a little)

im no expert on models but that looks pretty good!

Nice work, but the poly count does seem a little extreme for that (I know that you know). Nice, I don't know, but perhaps you using too many stacks, there is no need for it if a part is perfectly straight. Nice design and shape.

yes ms has one, but you all saw how ugly it is :p.

You are right, it does look like a knight axe, i made it from a reference pic of a two handed axe. maybe the guard could have that l33t axe (by replacing the model :p)

that is a mean looking axe there, large blade. Im guessing its 2 handed? And if it is, maby the handle could be thicker towards the bottom

I downloaded an old version of milkshape and i can start making models again!

I made another axe to improve my skill, i personaly dont think its good enought yet, so i guess i will make another one :p

i went on google and searched for "battle axe" and the ref of that axe came in the first 4-5 pages

ah nice, gj, btw is the blade just beveled?, or did u do it urself (i dont know if i'm using the right terminology for milkshape, but thats wut its called in max lol)

I think 500-1,500 polys is an acceptable range (considering todays standards), but un-needed polys like stuff inside other parts you can get rid of.

So yea, keep doing what your doing.

Dude! WHOA!... I've got milkshape, and uhh... Don't understand the damn thing. Could you point me to a good tutorial for newbs if possible? I know how to use Valve hammer editor pretty well, but for some reason I couldn't figure milkshape out!
