The problem with the forced system (as MS used to use) is that hopping servers can seriously fubar the FN connectivity to your char, so you get "random rollback syndrome". Until someone figures out what is causing the FN wackiness exactly and fixes it, I don't think MS:C could ever use that system.

I remember losing an lrod and someone else's phx from that random rollback crap. I left someone's server and started my own before closing down MS:C and it screwed up my character. It almost happened again, except much worse, so I decided to close down the game when going from my server to others or from others to my server.
