yes they are for now, since the way i make my maps are as follows...
Basic Outline (Cube building)
Detailed Outline (Displacment)
Basic Texturing (HL2 material files) - I am here
Detailed Texturing (Custom built)
Entities (lights, start point, breakables etc)
I will start the map up in the mountains as that seems to be where edna is located.
I will try my best to replace mountains with hills but this could end up with FPS issues.
I shall have a play about to see what i can find.
Map has started Screenies coming Sunday evening.
Swaying grass can be done without having to change code, by using models which i have; also sprite animationâs can work well.
I have already created the plans for the 3d Sky Box, it will be exactly as you have described.
About the way the thornlands has been portrayed, i will be having...
There will be proper tall grass that moves when you walk through it, modeled trees that sway when the wind blows. and other realistic things.
