WIP: Run

First off, i did not make the map (It's made by Oedipus), i just took care over it and want to share stuff i'm working on and maybe finishing it.

As of what i can tell it looks like a freeroaming map like thornlands/daragoth. I have no idea yet what monsters i will put in there (ideas are welcome!) or what it was intendet for. Right now i'm working on the lighting.

Depends on the lvl range you are willing to give this map. But i would say the map looks good for bandits/animated armors and bears. Maybe some undeads too. In other words, look at idermark's tower for an example on what to use in that map

There's a big flat area at the end there, that I was thinking one could stick some sort of iron fortress in, perhaps extending underground.

As for how or why you seem to start as prisoners in the mansion, that's up to you.

As of speaking of bandits, wasn't there some talk about a map in between keep and dragooncaves? Maybe we can (if it gets FN approved) put in in there and use the iron gate maybe as spawn point from keep. Or i could make a cave, cause the map is lacking one.

I dunno if you wanna force people to gauntlet all the way through The Keep to get to your map.

Not that I can think of very many good places for Run.

BTW, you are free to change the map name. I'm not sure why it has that name, save maybe lack of creativity, unless, of course, you want to change it more to theme and work out something where you're running from some sort of giant beast, or trying to get to a locale in under a certain amount of time.

Nah gauntlet wouldn't really be the best choice. It got 2-3 places for transitions (outside, a cave entry and the spoken of iron gate with the big area behind it).

Guess i will add a dungeon when the lighting is finished, and add something where you have to run in it, so the name fits again

About the range, was aiming for mid-level (20/25-30). Still dunno what stuff to add, but i'll see after finishing light.

€: Finished lighting i guess, put in first 5 monsters (skeletons) in the house i was standing on in the last screen, everything works out well! Next step would be adding details.

Well to be honest, the aluhandra incident or my jealousy of Rickler's awsome skills was just a tiny part of the of reason why I left . The real reason was just that i didnt have the time to do anymore master sword stuff. But man I'm really sorry to everyone I just left without a word . Master Sword still got it's part of my heart. And its really good to see some of you hardcore master sworders still around this forum.

J-M, Youre just saying that ...And well i dont think theres gonna be more things done. I've just installed the game last night and ive been playing it for a while. ...And this morning I also installed hammer just for fun, havent used it in years :? Playing with it right now, but nuthing serious 8)
