Where to now?

I tried to install and there was no automatic location to install it to. I've checked all over for help on this but nada, zip. Anyone care to help?

Reinstalling steam might fix it but i'm not sure how the installer was set up.

C:\\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\*user account name here*\half-life

It can help to launch half life in steam so that it creates the half life folder in the spot CMD pointed to.

Yeah do this first, HL may even have some hidden updates it needs to install too
