What happend to the chest?

In the b patch the chest doesnt spawn and instead of a chest its bags of 500 gold. While in the a patch it does spawn. Did you replace the chest in the b patch with gold instead of chest?

Apparently there was some freak bug where the map and the boss would both spawn the chest, i.e. you'd get two reward chests. Thothie made a slight mistake in trying to fix this. As he put it himself, he was "overzealous" in his anti-chest-duplication efforts. So now, no chest spawns at all. This will be fixed in the next patch.
