But let it be known, even if the hip-hop orcs get to stay, I refuse to recognize hip-hop as a form of "music". :roll:

Actually, at the rate I'm going, I may have to make a poll asking if we should have an update at all. This current patch is sooo buggy.

If you think they are glitchy, wait till you see the armor fix. ><

Best I could do is randomize their jump interval (so they don't sync up) and make them play their attack anim when they jump for effect. I'm not expecting a jump anim from Orochi before 2007 (or 2008 for that matter) so I think you can forgoe the "atm" of that sentence.

I was thinking more of how they will keep jumping at you (and higher than anything SHOULD be able to jump) if you're out of their reach

Case and point: Nightmare thornlands on the ledge by the orc raid.

Now that I think about it, and I haven't tested this, would constantly jumping at a person while still not hitting them be messing up the frustration counter?

Overall I must say keep them, but perhaps modify & nerf them slightly...

I believe them to be a good addition, in the effect that people can't camp just above them on those platforms at thornlands shooting them without truly being touchable... it is a good addition to destroy that campers spot (which essentially turns thornlands into a cheatmap, since that is easy XP without being hurt).

I agree it is a good addition but needs to be refined. Maybe you should remove it first and add it back again after you've updated it.

As I was trying to explain to MiB - I've done all the modification that can be done. True, I've not released all the changes, but they are not that drastic.

Now that I think about it, and I haven't tested this, would constantly jumping at a person while still not hitting them be messing up the frustration counter?

Shouldn't - it counts neither as an attack nor a strike... Is the frustration counter messing up? Seemed to be working for me before I left today.

maybe instead of jumping... give the the melee orcs some kind of weak ranged attack... like a rock sling... throwing rocks... or throwing hatchets...

lawl... or make them even better and add some sort of system that allows them to navigate to player accessable platforms...

bah... i'm done... christmas is so boring... i have zelda twilight, but no wii to play it on... i think i'll be lame and just go buy the gamecube version tomorrow...

Well, the only way they can reach player accessible platforms is to either be able to jump as high as the player (which looks really odd, when they are just over half player height - the player himself, already being an insanely high jumper) - or give them a huge step size, which tends to get them into all sorts of places they shouldn't be... Or the Evercrack solution where they just teleport to you - but I wouldn't even consider that one really.

im more curious about when rhythmn & blues went from the originator of 50's rock to a rap+soul mixture.
