So I was looking around for spiffy brushes and I found these

YOU made the bloom effect? Nice work, I really like it, and I'm gonna let you finish, but you crippled my poor Dual core, integrated ATI graphics laptop the first time MS:C booted up with those defaulted on =P
I could barely run MS:C as it is on that thing, but if I wanna see teh bloomz I'm forced to my desktop now XD

Eh, Bloom effect was my fault, from a copy-pasta of Tron-Bloom tutorial (plus much library hunt-down). The fact that the damned cvar sticks is also my fault, result of the copy-pasta. MiB has fixed that, and has added an alternate Bloom function, that is less blinding, and be adjusted on a map-by-map basis (so, for instance, you can see on ms_snow).

GPU hit will still be just as hard, I suspect, but should look a bit better, and be easier to keep turned off.

It doens't phase my main-rig's XP install at all, but I notice on the laptop's Vista install, it easily cuts the FPS by a third (it not being so hot there to begin with).

sure, keep in mind all I did with these is find em and mess around in ps with em, I believe both the image pack and brush pack come with a credit image so ye know who to credit lol

Apparently they forgot that you need first person to be immersive... Or they were just worried it'd raise the ESRB.

Like the reason none of these sandbox games have kids in em and all seem to have this "Children of Men" syndrome going... (Except Fallout - which is kind of ironic, as given the radiation levels, you think everyone would be sterile.)

First person or not Demons Soul manages to be a great game.

And no wonder its not FPS, Sony already rejected the english version of Shadow Tower Abyss, which is also an awesome game.
Seriously Kings Field 2 is like an FPS legend of zelda yet nobody knows it.

I think that, coupled with the "Master Sword" FShard combo (See top of site) would be a pretty delicious background for opening up MS:C, instead of the tower that is no where to be found in-game.

I dunno... may just be me
