I joined a server, then saw my friend in another server, so I joined the server he was in and then my main character, Sir Skipper, wasn't showing up in the slot. Instead, "Create New" came up. :/

There is a chance you joined a LAN/nonFN server, LAN/nonFN servers don't have FN characters stored.
You should try another server and see if its working properly. If you are sure its not working like it is meant to be, then i guess it bugged and went poof or randomly deleted itself.

I'll wait for ye to get back on that before I roll you back (and hopefully me net still be workin'). But also, it be very important to quit out and close MSC before you switch servers.

Both servers were connected to FN, and any server I went to didn't have my character :/
