He doesn't have a golden armor, that's a fairy tale. Last time I met him in-game he was wearing a dark armor. And that was about a week ago.

Hmmm... Every character I've restored has been of different size by +/- 1k or more. If it's having no effect at all, ya probably got the wrong ID - and I'm probably making someone very unhappy in my efforts to fix it.

Rolled back to Dec 19th (Dec20th matched current) - try that one.

Ah fudge just restore me back to 12/23/06 7:00 pm and leave it at that i guess but it sucks because i had just got me a helm of ice resistance :| but oh well..

What's your character's name, btw? If this is having no effect I want to be sure I have the right character.

I just had a funny idea...

I could ask for a rollback or something and post a steamID that isn't mine... that would be horrible of me but apparently it is possible

Hell, I could make a secondary forums account and bluff my way into getting MiB's character deleted visa using his steamID saying it is bugged and I need it removed....

This is merely speculation though, and meant to make you (Fuz & Thothie) a bit more careful so as to avoid this happening...

I am sure Kokris isn't doing anything like this, but nonetheless this idea popped into my head in the last ten seconds

Yeah, tis always a risk... If we get a report of an ID we just restored, asking for his character to be restored - it kinda gives it away though.

It is, however, why we didn't completely automate the character restore system on the front page, we coulda arranged that otherwise.

Again, if we had a sockets programmer, we could make it so you could restore your own character (and only your own), through the console.
