You need to complete more before comments that will matter can be made, you have a decent shape so far, but by completing the mesh you'll have a better idea of proportions and shape.
Also, the smoothing groups need a look into, but as its so early into production Im guessing you know this allready
What are the extrusions on the arms for? it takes any form of joint or elbow away and will hinder the animations.
Do you have any reference art you are working from that you could post?
From this early screen it looks far to skinny on the torso to be a rough and ready ork.
Keep going and post some more renders/screens when theres more of a complete mesh

This one better not look like its from a pile of nuclear waste. I agree with Gaz. Looks good though.
