nooo... :( i really wanna see this get done... um try differnt compiling tools... iv always hated hammers....

yes, some different compile tools *could* help, although i have no suggestions...

dont give up on it, but try to poke around VDC and see how you can get those fixed...

Turns out, destroying all of the displacements on the ground fixed all of my problems. Up and running once more!

ah, good, displacements are a very good tool...but only if used in moderation in most areas (in areas like thornlands - go crazy)

most of your map should still be brushwork ;)

i gotta idea for source version! lol u know that thing on halo 2 where u look down and u can see ur legs n shit? that should be implemented in the source version i think it would give a good graphical effect to the mod :D

u can do that in HL1 version, all you need to do is model legs so when u look down, u see them.

please dont do it like halo2 - they look really stupid...

if you want a GOOD example of what ceriux is trying to say - check out the Might and Magic: Dark Messiah singleplayer demo, and look down.

yea the movement on the game is awsome too! do it exactly like that! lol

yeah rly - if you have a goal to shoot for, shoot for graphics and movement like that, i like that fighting system too...where you can kick during combat but it doesn't do much damage and stuff..just kindof a stun...

i enjoyed kicking people through fences :D

I just hope i will be able to join the team and map for 'em 8) I tried making a source map of Edana for CSS but i had a computer crash :evil: ofcourse that stuff always happens to me :? But the guys in the team seems nice and so :wink:

Hell, the beta packages are there for a reason - to make MS:C as good as it can be before they move on to MS:S. Nobody's really attempted to make a Source-based RPG mod, so it'll probably take a long time anyway.

And yes, it is a necropost, you body-hugger.

Me, but theres been 0 posts in the team section, with gives me 0% motivation.

I need to do these textures for DeKill, but have been quite busy, and want to get the noegdulb and rat finished first :)
Oh, and at some point, help thothie with stuff too
