"Missing" Servers.

I'm aware of valve fucking up our Half-life 1 over the years, but this is really another kick in the shin.
I can see the ip in someone's game info from friends, I can see it on gametiger http://gametiger.com/search?mod=msc&game=all
But I can't connect to it, it's not visible in my server browser, and I can't even connect to it using console forced connect

connect 76.127.58.18

And for people's game info inside it, it just displays the IP and no other info, just "Server not responding."

Steam is a joke, I miss WON.

1723 is a bit of a weird port to use.. Atleast that i know of... I can't seem to manualy connect to it either, but i was able to join using the normal server search.... Port 1723 is tied to PPTP, not sure if thats the problem, but the port, or his firewall, or maybe yours are the only things i can think of that are the problem... Sorry that i coulden't really help
