I CAN'T PLAY

Whenever i try to join a server it says my steam ID doesnt belong this game or stuff like that, i logged out and log in again but still the same.
Is it just me or is this happening to everyone?

go delete ClientRegistry.blob

its in the steam folder. fixes almost every bug you'll encounter with steam itself...deleting it does.
