I dunno, i thought about this yesterday ingame....
I can understand how the current ice bosses have immunity to fire and such because they are like the hardest bosses in game now...
But I want to suggest that once we have a nice array of elements with respective bosses... possibly to put elemental weapons to use.... have a nice spread of boss weaknesses... To compensate for the elemental weaknesses maybe increase boss hp and damage... make it so elemental weapons against elemental bosses is reccomended but not completely necessary...
I'm sure this next idea will make people um... well a lot of people would disagree...
I think each weapon type should have at least one elemental type attribute weapon...
current ideas for elements
Fire<>Ice
Lightning
Holy<>Shadow
Poison
Axes - Fire (fire damage and splash damage)
Bluntarms - Lightning (lightning damage and chance to stun)
Swords - Ice (ice damage and chance to slow/freeze)
Martial arts - Holy (holy damage and greatly lights up surrounding area)
Archery - Poison (poison damage with lasting poison effect)
Smallarms - Shadow (shadow damage and chance to blind or leeching)
and since i'm too scared to play warcraft 3 (single player campaign mission where i start off being attacked by a nightelf god onslaught)
I have some idears for names of these weapons
(do some descs later)
Fire Hatchet
Burning Cleaver
Hell's Waraxe
Ice Sword
Frost Blade
Snow Miser's Edge (JKJKJKJK!!!!!)
Lightning Mace
Storm Maul
Grand Maul of Thunder
Holy Fists
Divine Knuckle Dusters
Godhands
Shadow Knife
Bone Blade
Demonic Dagger
Poisoned arrows
Poisoned bolts
Envenomed arrows
Envenomed bolts
Toxi-rust arrows
Toxi-rust bolts
