As i browse throughout the forums i've noticed absolutely NO (i am pretty sure but correct me on this) appreciation for the remaining dev team of this mod, and it is outrageously inconsiderate, so i have decided to make a thread thanking the last of the dev team of this one of a kind mod, and how they're still working on it keeping it alive.

Thank you Master Sword: Continued Developer Team, for keeping this mod alive and well.

Don't tell me you have been digging on old threads and came to this conclusion? >_>

I think most people who still play Ms:c appreciate the job that has been put in the latest patches, though sometimes there are a few things that get out of hand...

Your appreciation is appreciated. :)

All games generate a certain amount of animosity towards their developers from their users. It's particularly true of MORPG's, as the developers have to periodically annoy a certain segment of the player populous for the better of the whole. It is, however, by far, worse for MSC than I've seen for any other game.

I suppose that's among the reasons why most commercial MORPG's put up a firewall between their development teams and their end user base, often even forbidding developers to even visit related MORPG sites as part of their employment agreement.

We don't really have that option here, for various reasons, and this animosity has cost us more developers than anything else, to be sure. Only the most staunch and dedicated of us have stuck around, as it is difficult to work on a game for folks who seem either ungrateful or profess hatred for you on a regular basis. I suppose most of us that do keep going do so either due to having hearts of stone, or in some belief of a Nixon'esque "silent majority" out there, somewhere, that appreciates our efforts. ;)

idk i will say there's a lot of things about MSC that bring it down decision wise on the dev team, but i will have to say after playing recently that the game has changed a lot and has become more fun. Thothie and MiB work pretty hard on making MSC better. I believe that even the people that hate on MSC and it's developers have a reason to keep playing and coming around the forums. So , im sure to some extent even those who complain and whine still appreciate what's being done for the mod even though they don't express it.

every game should do that, or we'll end up with cinematic crap games with crap gameplay (or Twilight Princess, a fan game created by Nintendo developers)

Just look at Koei, they give a damn about what the fan base thinks and just keep making Dynasty Warrior games they way they want, and they are a boom in Japan (on this side too, but critics lie about that)
