erm, no that's not what i meant, when you're actually on the map there is no captain. So you just sit stagnant on the boat, since you can't tell the guy where you are going.

It would really depend on how higher level players would be compensated for sure.

Well, setting a cap too low would cause a lot of weapons that people have acquired would become useless and it'd be a little disheartening to just drop something that they were lucky enough to get. Well at least it wasn't something real valuable and we farmed another raven mace, so if something similar happens I'll be sure to make a post about it. But so far everything seems to be functioning and I haven't had anything else vanish inexplicably.

No, the axe disappeared when a friend had me pick his up and after having it in my inventory it vanished when we changed zones about one half hour later. Since it was in his inventory would I need to hold it in my hands to confirm new ownership for each item we exchange?

It could be that after bugging out like that the message for the potion stopped functioning properly. I'm just taking a shot in the dark here. But the only potions that sent out a message potion of cold resist and potion of speed. 3/3 times we got potion of speed and potion of cold resist and...

If a boss in Bandit Keep drinks a speed pot they have a tendency to get themselves stuck, despawn for a moment or two, then re-appearing fully healed. What if anything can be done to prevent this?

After pressing my quickbind for my raven mace, it vanished off of me... and relogging doesn't seem to fix it. Soloing that boss is extermely difficult. Is there anyway i can get it restored?

It seems to be that you can turn the evidence into either the captain, or Tristan in the alley. Give a try for yourself if you'd like. But if an old member such as yourself hasn't done this quest then it's probably not tied to anything important.
