MiB; there is no such thing as an accurate gun, or bow, or even crossbow. Only accurate marksmen. If you placed one-hundred-percent faith in the gun, or bow, or even crossbow; you are guaranteed an early death in war.
So there, it is only accurate if you are accurate; therefore the weapon itself has no accuracy. Only the user does.
And what I say, when it concerns MSC, is reinforced heavily by those 36/28 MISSED! things in-game
EDIT:
Fixed a typo with the example of in-game attacks.
So, it doesn't matter if you're using a musket or a barrett rifle? As Squirrel put it, it has a cone of fire. The musket has a wider cone than the barrett rifle, so it's less accurate. You can't rely 100% on the gun, but you can't rely 100% on yourself. An inaccurate gun will be just as bad as an inaccurate person.
More so reliance is needed for the person though. Since if you take a crossbow and choose a target at a hundred yards, it'll be just as accurate & precise as a barret rifle, should you know what you are doing.
But I can get the cone thing; it is widespread, like Vice Pres. Cheney & how he shot his lawyer friend while bird-hunting :LAWL:
