And that's coming from the MS:C code, where socket variables, though the same exact variable and debugged to show it's exactly the same, will sometimes fail to "be a socket" when called from, say, MY FUNCTION RAWR.
Hehe, nice, MiB. Sad, but all too true... MS:C does have a buggy set of code, doesn't it (but not so much as Windows ME)... if MS:C could only be cleaned up, I have this miraculous feeling that many of our crashing problems would suddenly go away... and servers would hold more than ten players... without lagging.
As I said... a miraculous feeling, therefore a doubtful reality.
Steam may run in Windows ME, but if the computer can't handle XP, it won't be able to handle MSC either. TFC or HL1 you maybe okay with, but the more complicated mods are going to be unplayable.
yes it works, i tested it on a older com previously before it crashed and burned. and it was at the era where we had to dl diff client blah blah dlls, so i can safely say it shldnt be too much trouble now
