Thothie's [FN] Server(help plz)

Apparantly, thothie's is the only one using FN (well as of this time anyway)
and I wanna join it. The problem is that it keeps saying my client.dll is different(the same happens if I try to join Kuroneko's server)
Now, ever since I can remember, I've been trying to get into Thothie's even when MS:C came out... soooooooooooooooooooooo Help is appreciated.


Oh yeah, and I HAVE LOOKED AT THE PATCH PAGE.

If there's a link for the patches on the main page there must be a serious write protected glitch in my internet cache or something, cuz I don't see one.... ...oh wait... In teeeny tiiiny little writing there's a mention of a patch... (blended gray since I've visited the page) - I can barely see that. ><

There is also nothing but music in the download section. At least, not in any of my browsers.

Patches should be a new news entry (I can barely see that), and both MSC 1.0 and the patches should be in the download section.... IMHO... No need to make stuff hard to find.

Hm... I think that implies that I have downloaded all of the patches.
So please STOP SUGGESTING IT! I know it's in good will BUT IT'S THE SAME THING!

Have you looked at the patches?

Sorry, but the only way your client.dll could be different is if you haven't downloaded the patches, or you didn't install them correctly. ..well, or your hard drive is on the fritz and your client.dll is corrupt - but lets focus on those first two shall we?

The patch you download(ed) from the patch page have to go into your msc folder...

If you download just the client.dll - it has to go into your msc/cl_dlls folder.

You managed to install MSC without a self-installer, so I assume you can find your MSC folder, but if not, use this batch file.

Check your msc/cl_dlls folder, check the time/date stamp on your client.dll

It should be dated 01/9/2006 and should be 1,960KB.
