Hi, I see that the reload time with the hxbow was nerfed so that it was about 3 times as long. I know its better than the steam xbow, but why nerf the hxbow when you could buff the steam xbow?

Still isn't long enough a delay to fit its animation. I guess I better make it longer.
Or maybe because it was so overpowered to begin with, and it was better than compounding the issue... >_>

We all play this game for the pretty effects, I won't play until the reload time is as slow as the animation!

My bad, I guess I wasnt shooting fast enough, I thought the animation was the same time as the reload, my bad.

It's just because people are so used to it being overpowered. I welcome nerfs

I would say something about other ranged weapons or attacks being blatantly superior to both the heavy and steam crossbows in dps, but somehow I doubt it'd get a favorable reaction so I won't compare them directly to anything.
I am still relatively confused as to why maneuverability is apparently valued so highly in terms of balancing the weapon when a lot of players don't move much at all even with speed potions on, especially since the steambow is somewhat lacking on monsters that are actually worth dodging.

My opinion on heavy xbow: If it needs nerfing, make the reload time 5-6 seconds rather than make it like steam xbow?
My opinion on steam xbow: It's a level 35 archery weapon, and right now it doesn't qualify as one in terms of damage. This could be explained to the long reload time, which makes the weapon not even usefull since it gets outrun by any other weapon ingame. What to do? Make the reload shorter, similiar to heavy xbow (if it gets nerfed again), while reloading a player couldn't move so fast (preferably walking only, just to balance between reload time and movement speed).
Or you can ignore both suggestions and buff steam xbow from 25%-50% more damage and leave things as it is. Either way works to me, i just don't like steam xbow right now since its crap and it requires a high archery lvl -.-'
