OHAI, lately i've been thinking quite alot of *nice* suggestions, i think.
So here goes:
Upgraded Dark sword (lvl 20-35/40)
-Could be a forge weapon, or a magical enchanted weapon from a quest. It would act sameway as darksword, just higher level charges, more damage, more mana consume.
Dark (dragoon) lance (lvl 35+)
-Could be another forge weapon (using [greater dragoon lance if this is planned to be released]) or magical enchanted weapon. It would act similiar to holy lance, instead it would deal dark damage (also possible fire dot), casts dark aura on the player using the lance or switch the dark aura into an AOE throw (casting a dark circle on impact, doing splash damage to nearby targets). The dark aura would hit surrounding enemies hard and casting it would consume a nice amount of mana.
1st possible look (if it becomes Dark dragoon lance): The polearm would look similiar to dragoon lance, except that it would have a small dragonhead on top of the lance. The the handle
would be dark with golden/silver runes all over it.
2nd possible look (if it becomes Dark lance): use holy lance model, reskin it to a dark version, decorate it with some runes.
Corrupted warscythe[polearm meele only weapon] (lvl 25+ or 30+) example
-This is a meele only polearm, its a polearm that deals either acid damage with poison dot or dark damage on hit, maybe with vampyric effect on hit if dealing dark damage. This scythe would do normal meele abilities, hard hit and maybe a really hard hit ability (like if we were ripping someone's soul out, only works on living things). Also this polearms would be medium-high range reach weapon, considering the hard hit ability a limited long range hit, similiar to pharaoh lance.
Dark spear (lvl 15+)
- Upgraded spear, that deals dark damage and possible affliction dot (the one used in unholy blade).
Dark harpoon (lvl 30+)
- Samething as spear, except its a harpoon and much stronger than spear, also with a knockback.
Holy gauntlets (lvl 15+/20+)
- Some basic gauntlets that train divination, rebuke on hit (kick or punch) and it would heal the player slowly (passive regen like felewyn shards).
Greater holy gauntlets (lvl 30+, possible 35+)
- Same abilities as holy gauntlets, more damage, a new ability that would heal the player on hit (like a small rejuvenation cast), right click for a holy aura to pop up under the players feet which boosts the players divination damage and healing effect by 50% (holy aura wouldn't do anything on enemies standing on it though and the effect would work on anyone standing on the aura).
Sealing hands (lvl 25/30 martialarts and 35 each SC sub)
- This martial arts weapon would have a nice variety of circle spells, one for each spellcasting sub. Either have this weapon switch seals/circles by right clicking or making it cast different abilities with many charges. It would have basic non elemental attacks (normal punch/kicking) and then the circle spells, each dealing fire/ice/lightning/divination/affliction damage to surrounding enemies. Circles would work like healing circle, instead of supporting players with heals, it would support with damage.
Also to avoid making this an overpowered circle spamming weapon, the damage each circle deals could be lowered down, but having a bonus effect of boosting other peoples damage based on which element circle used. (example: greater ice circle spawned, players would get an ice damage boost of 50% or more damage while standing on that circle)
Raging fists (lvl 25+ or 30+)
- Do some quest to learn a new ability for normal fists, it would unlock a new ability that would enrage the player with demon blood and faster reaction time. This ability would make a player use normal fists to deal a good amount of damage at cost of loosing its life quickly (ability would consume more health the longer u stayed in rage form). This ability would consume no mana. Basically this would work out like a bludgeon hammer rage ability that doesnt heal but consumes health, it would also make you hit faster&harder than usual while doing this.
Necromancer's staff (lvl 20/25 polearms and 15-20 spellcasting)
- Was thinking this to look like ihotohr's staff, just lower level and a new skin. It would only use the non elemental beam mentioned in ihotohr's staff description. Same mana consume and possibly same damage. Special abilities would be: summon friendly stone guardian (limited to a max of 4 in server), 150 mana each (15 spellcasting) and summon bloodknight guardian (limited to 2 only), 200 mana each (20 spellcasting).
*Ihotohr's staff (lvl 35+ polearms and 35 ice/lightning/fire) - similiar to the one the elf Ihotohr uses
- Basically a staff that works either like a chaos torkbow (random elemental damage) + defensive barrier on right click or use right click for elemental switch, making the players choose whatever they want. There would be 4 types of beams, one dealing cold damage with small effect to slow down things, one dealing lightning with small effect to leave lightning dot, one dealing fire with small effect to se things on fire and then a magic beam that would work based in polearms level, a non elemental beam, which is also less effective compared to the elemental ones. Knockback effect would be low
or none. Using elemental beams should cost some mana consume overtime while the non elemental one should cost not so much. (elemental mana consume = 10 mana per second and non elemental = 5 mana per second)
*Velend's staff/ Elite lightning staff (lvl 30+ polearms and 30 lightning) - similiar to the one Velend uses
- Lightning only staff with knockback effect, really small chance to encase enemies in a lightning field cage (similiar to the new lightning goblin shaman), right click would cast a defensive lightning barrier that dealt small damage and pushed things away with possible lightning dot damage. This staff would consume a small amount of mana overtime (8 mana per second).
*Ivicta's flaming hammer (lvl 30+/35+ blunt and 30+/35+ fire) - yes, the one ivicta uses with same abilities for players to use
-Make that hammer possible for players to use, it looks quite nice and i feel it would be a waste if we never get to see that in our hands (actually, this goes for every weapon the elves use, they all look nice, maybe excluding the dwarven crossbow).
*Ulectrah's storming axe (lvl 30+/35+ axe and 30+/35+ lightning) - yes, the one ulectrah uses with same abilities for players to use
-Read Ivicta's description.
*I know these weapons might be waiting for release since they are actually ingame used by npcs, but still... better confirm if there is actually any use for them in the future. xD
DISCUSS your opinions about the items suggested!
//Trolling items trololololol, ftw. (ignore this, its basically fun stuff i came up with, was bored...)
Beargodclaws (lvl 40)
- Samething as bearclaws, instead of turning into some small bear, you turn yourself into a beargod (epic!).
Wooden spoon/hammer (lvl 40)
- Weapon used by those who manage to achieve 40 blunt, it has no purpose to wield it other than 1 minute stunning friendly targets (including players in nonpvp environment). Said stun would block player from moving and attacking.
Summon hat scroll (lvl 29 spellcasting) - original idea from JM back in 2010 which i still think its awesome
- Summon a hat next to you that does nothing at all, maybe watch you die and vanish after... a Self trolling item it seems >_>
Slap w/ massive knockback scroll (29 spellcasting)
- Cast it once, a menu pops up giving 1-10 options (1-9 = number of slaps dealt and 10th/0 = cancel), then a second menu pops up displaying everyone's name, making this an extremelly fun trolling weapon, especially in places like bloodrose boss chamber ^_^
Master summoning scroll (40 in all skills, 29 spellcasting- 40 all subs)
- Cast this once, to get a pop up menu that cycles through all hard bosses in the game, pick a boss from the menu list to make them spawn in front of you. Warning: Summon would be hostile to anyone except for the summoner, extremelly effective on groups or lower lvls and medium lvls!
Vortex Scroll (29 spellcasting) - probably best trolling suggestion by far!
- Create a vortex next to a player, it would s*ck him in and throw him into a pit or make them appear inside walls. This would act friendly to npcs.
