lawl... I dled a version of 1.01 and i'm gonna play it later today...

Did you encounter any errors in setting up your script??

Last time I had the ole'MS verions (ones with apostle items) I had to manually create a binds.cfg so the steam binding list wouldn't be blank.

You probably would have to do that, since 1.01 was WON compatible. Ah... those days... so messed up but so unforgettable. Little cheating bastards with apostle armor and dev weapons chasing after you and trying to take your gold. That was the version where they had a female model, but only like 2 people used it.
